Job Description:

We are seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at our Milton Keynes pharmacy. This part-time position involves working 4 hours per week on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm.

The role includes:

• Providing high-standard customer service to attract and retain customers.
• Receiving and checking prescriptions, ensuring details are legible and complete, collecting levies or verifying exemptions.
• Promoting products and services to maximize branch sales.
• Referring customers to healthcare professionals, including pharmacists, following Standard Operating Procedures for Sign-Posting.
• Receiving incoming stock, storing it correctly, completing documentation, minimizing damage, rotating stock to prevent expiry, and notifying suppliers of discrepancies.
• Maintaining good housekeeping procedures, including cleaning duties.
• Performing cashing up and banking duties.
