Job description

The successful candidate will be assisting in the dispensing of medication and gaining key skills in assisting customers at the counter. If you are passionate about pursuing a career in the pharmacy sector, this role offers a fantastic opportunity with significant potential.

Main duties include:

1. Ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceutical stock
2. Receiving prescriptions and managing prescription orders
3. Making up blister packs
4. Dispensing medication under supervision once trained
5. Labeling prescriptions
6. Communicating with customers face-to-face and over the phone
7. Duping and disposing of medicines
8. Managing stock levels, replenishing stock, and cleaning sales areas
9. Receiving incoming supplies, verifying quantities against orders, and informing supervisors of stock needs and shortages
10. Ensuring standards for quality, customer service, and health and safety are met
11. Utilizing specialist product knowledge when required
12. Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
13. Completing compulsory training as required
14. Performing other duties that fall within the reasonable expectations of the role
