Role: Senior Pharmacy Assistant - Oncology Services
Location: Private Care at Guys, part of London Bridge Hospital
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday

Shift Times: 9am-5pm
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive Depending on Experience (with excellent benefits)

We're looking for a Senior Pharmacy Assistant to join our Oncology Services team at our Private Care at Guys, part of London Bridge Hospital, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC.

London Bridge Hospital is one of the UK's largest private healthcare hospitals specialising in complex and acute care. Spread over three main buildings and five outpatient centres, it is home to a number of specialist units and teams across a wide range of disciplines including orthopaedic, spinal, digestive diseases, liver, hepatobiliary, renal, cardiothoracic, critical care, cancer and transplant services.

As a Senior Pharmacy Assistant based within Oncology Services, the role is an integral part in the provision of a safe and effective aseptic service. You will work in the aseptic unit assisting in the daily running of the pharmacy aseptic service together with the Lead Pharmacist, Lead Technician and Senior Technician. The post holder will maintain and develop the highest standards of patient-focused care in the provision of the pharmacy service.

What you'll bring:
  • 5 x GCSE pass Grade C or above incl. Maths and English or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • NVQ Level 2/3 qualification in Pharmacy Service Skills/ or equivalent
  • Demonstrate experience of working in a pharmacy within a hospital setting, including Aseptics production (essential)
