Job summary

Skills4Group in Sheffield seeks a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will learn on the job and work toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship while helping customers and processing prescriptions.

No prior pharmacy experience is required; full training is provided. You will gain hands‑on service experience, stock handling and a nationally recognised qualification in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English are desirable or can be provided as part of the course.
• No prior pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
• Interest in healthcare and helping people is important.

Responsibilities

• Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision).
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
