Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy in Manchester is looking for a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support daily pharmacy operations, help customers and work with the team to ensure safe, efficient service. You will undertake a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.

No previous pharmacy experience is required as full training is offered. Working hours are Mon-Fri with potential weekend shifts during busy periods; duration typically around

Qualifications

• GCSEs desirable; Maths and English helpful but not essential
• No prior pharmacy experience required; full training provided
• Completion of Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside role

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales
• Maintain cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service
