Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support day-to-day operations, assist customers at the medicines counter, and work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will undertake a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training provided. Duration typically 15 months, blended learning with contracted hours. No prior pharmacy experience required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired but training can provide.
• Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant apprenticeship will be completed alongside duties.

Responsibilities

• Support customers at the medicines counter.
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision).
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
