The hourly rate for this role is £12.69 and up to £14.05 across selected locations within London.

You will work across the healthcare counter and dispensary to meet patients' needs, offering a great opportunity to develop your pharmacy career and make a difference.

What you’ll be doing day to day.

Providing health advice through focused conversations with patients, ensuring they leave feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.

Your duties will include:
  1. Tailoring conversations to ensure customer understanding and confidence.
  2. Handling technical dispensary tasks such as ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
  3. Ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards in Boots.
  4. Engaging with GPs and practice teams to promote services and products.
  5. Maintaining efficient dispensary operations and minimizing dispensing losses.
What you’ll need to have.

Applicants should have an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services and previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser. Completion of Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) or equivalent is required, with support available for training if not already completed. There is potential to pursue NVQ Level 3 (QCF) in Pharmacy Services, leading to eligibility to register with GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician and possibly advancing to an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) role.
