Job summary

Well Pharmacy in Marton, Blackpool is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join a busy community pharmacy located inside a supermarket. You will support NHS services, private services and work closely with a small team to deliver high-quality patient care.

The role includes relocation support, a Welcome to Well bonus, and paid professional fees, with pension and ongoing career development opportunities.

You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits

We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.

We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we’ve put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.

Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Marton in Blackpool.

This community pharmacy is located in Asda supermarket on Cherry Tree Road (e.g. high street). It has a good relationship with the health centre.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

• It dispenses 3,000 items a week,
• It provides a wide range of services including all NHS services private services.
• It provides services to 10 substance misuse patients and 1 care homes.
• It dispenses 50 community blisters.

Pharmacy opening hours:

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of 1 tech, 1 checker, 1 counter assistant 5 colleagues and team leader.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.
