Job summary

SJB Medical invites applications from experienced healthcare professionals to join our Functional Assessor team. You will perform functional assessments, apply clinical judgement, and deliver comprehensive reports within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment at our UK centres.

Qualifications

• Be a registered healthcare professional (Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Paramedic, or Pharmacist).
• Have at least 12 months' post-registration experience within the last 5 years.
• Have no current restrictions to practice.
• Demonstrate strong communication, assessment, and report-writing skills.

• Guaranteed £2,000 salary uplift within your first year (subject to approval milestones and contract)

About the role

As a Functional Assessor, you'll use your clinical expertise in a new and rewarding way, carrying out functional assessments that support individuals applying for health-related benefits. This role allows you to apply your clinical judgement while enjoying regular working hours, no night shifts, and no weekend work.
