Job summary

SJB Medical is recruiting a Functional Assessor to apply clinical judgement in health-related benefit assessments, with regular hours and no night shifts.

You will conduct assessments, write clear reports, and work with a multidisciplinary team at one of our UK centres. A registered clinician with 12 months post-registration experience is preferred and training is provided.

• Be a registered healthcare professional (Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Paramedic, or Pharmacist).
• Demonstrate strong communication, assessment, and report-writing skills.
• Have at least 12 months' post-registration experience within the last 5 years.

Guaranteed £2,000 salary uplift within your first year (subject to approval milestones and contract)

One‑off approval bonus of 5% of salary

About the role

As a Functional Assessor, you'll use your clinical expertise in a new and rewarding way, carrying out functional assessments that support individuals applying for health‑related benefits. This role allows you to apply your clinical judgement while enjoying regular working hours, no night shifts, and no weekend work.

What you'll need
