Job summary

Healthxchange Pharmacy UK Limited is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to assume the Responsible Pharmacist role at our brand-new Distribution Centre in Birmingham. The position supports operational setup and ensures safe, compliant pharmacy services from day one.

The successful candidate will lead day-to-day operations, oversee dispensing, inventory, and staff supervision, while maintaining regulatory records and KPIs. A UK registration and MPharm/Pharmacist qualification are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or MPharm degree.
• Registered UK Pharmacist with valid license to operate.
• In-depth knowledge of UK pharmacy regulations (GPhC).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with UK pharmacy regulations (GPhC).
• Support KPI delivery and operational setup at the new distribution centre.
• Oversee day-to-day dispensing, inventory, quality control and safety.
• Supervise staff in absence of Pharmacy Manager.
• Provide training and SOP adherence guidance.
• Protect pharmacy security and handle key holding after probation.
• Maintain records of transactions and regulatory documentation.
• Collaborate with management to manage regulatory risks.
