Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Pharmacist to join our established team at a Central London pharmacy. This is a full-time, in-person role that offers the opportunity to work within a supportive, fast-paced environment, serving both NHS and private patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, effective, and efficient provision of pharmaceutical services while ensuring full compliance with clinical governance, professional, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:·Clinically checking NHS and private prescriptions to ensure safety, legality, and appropriateness.
·Dispensing medications accurately in accordance with current guidelines and company SOPs.
·Providing professional advice to patients on the safe and effective use of prescribed and over-the-counter medicines.
·Maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date patient medication records, including interventions and clinical notes.
·Monitoring and managing medication inventory to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained, including ordering, expiry checks, and waste minimisation.
·Supporting the development and delivery of pharmaceutical services aligned with clinical and business needs.
·Ensuring compliance with all professional, ethical, and regulatory requirements, including those set by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), NHS, and other relevant bodies.
·Collaborating effectively with team members to deliver high standards of patient care and customer service.
·Contributing to a safe working environment through the identification and reporting of incidents, near misses, and potential risks.
Person Specification:·Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) in the UK.
·Proven experience in pharmaceutical dispensing and clinical checking in a community or clinical pharmacy setting.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred approach.
·High level of attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
·Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload in a busy environment.
·A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
·An interest or background in medical aesthetics and knowledge of aesthetic products
