About the role

As a Pharmacist with us you’ll be providing excellent customer and patient care, which goes beyond dispensing medicine to listening, advising, and reassuring. Your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Delivering the pharmacy strategy through expert care and advice
  2. Being accountable for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy
  3. Building the pharmacy capability of store teams
  4. Conducting ongoing reviews via audits, observations, and risk assessments to ensure customer and patient safety
  5. Providing a range of professional pharmacy services
What you’ll need to have

To succeed in this role, you should have a professional, caring character and a genuine desire to improve. Additionally, you will:

  • Be registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
  • Demonstrate high professional standards and be respected by stakeholders, peers, patients, and external professionals
  • Have a passion for community pharmacy and delivering excellent care
  • Be collaborative with a team-centered approach
  • Possess excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and local/national services
  • Be an effective communicator, able to put people at ease and meet diverse needs
