You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits

We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.

We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we’ve put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.

Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy Blaenavon in Newport.

This community pharmacy is located on high street. It has a great relationship with the GP surgery.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

• It dispenses 8,000 items a month.
• It provides a wide range of services including CAS
• It provides services to 3 substance misuse patients and 1 care homes (5 beds).
• It dispenses 45 community blisters.

Trading hours Week 1: Mon-Fri 9:00am-6:00pm (closed for lunch). Week 2: Mon-Fri 9:00am-6:30pm (closed for lunch)

The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of a Branch Manager, x2 Checkers, x2 PAs

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.
