Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Warehouse Operative (Section 2) in South Normanton to support our Service Delivery Department. You will assemble orders across multiple lines, ensure accuracy, and maintain high standards of housekeeping. Shift: Mon-Fri 1700-2300; Pay grade 2 – £13.07 per hour.

We value attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow GDP-related SOPs, with a focus on safe handling of temperature‑controlled materials and timely order preparation.

Qualifications

• Capable of working under pressure to assemble orders accurately.
• Good verbal and written communication and issue reporting.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Strong time management with housekeeping focus.
• Flexible and compliant with management directions.
• Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assemble items from scanners, documentation, and despatch bins.
• Prevent damage and report issues to Team Leader promptly.
• Raise any order or environment errors to Team Leader immediately.
• Report problems with the Knapp Line or despatch ramps to the Team Leader.
• Handle express and special orders with care and accuracy.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping across shifts and zones.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure productive operations.
• Follow all Health and Safety requirements and GDP SOPs.
