Job summary

Alliance Healthcare in South Normanton is seeking a Warehouse Operative (Section 2) to join the Service Delivery Department. You will assemble orders, operate symbol scanners and despatch equipment, and ensure accuracy and efficiency across all packing lines.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and candidates should be comfortable with evening hours (Mon-Fri 17:00–23:00). Training on GDP and safety procedures is provided, with emphasis on accuracy and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills and an ability to raise issues quickly.
• Good Numeracy and Literacy skills.
• Excellent own time management with key focus on high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness.
• An understanding of the impact to the Service Delivery Department regarding Customer Care.
• Be self motivated, responsible with a commitment to Compliance and Health & Safety.
• Previous warehouse experience would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assemble items accurately from scanner equipment, documentation and despatch bins.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the warehouse and despatch areas.
• Follow health and safety requirements and report any issues to the Team Leader.
• Complete orders efficiently for all job types including express and bulk orders.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
