Job summary

Cencora is recruiting a Warehouse Operative - Picker for the Central Service Centre in South Normanton. You will be responsible for safe loading/unloading, ensuring on-time despatch and compliance throughout the despatch process.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and ability to work under pressure within a healthcare distribution environment. 25 hours per week, Mon-Fri 17:00-23:00, on-site role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in despatch, logistics, or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of load securing and trailer safety procedures beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload vehicles in line with procedures and schedules.
• Complete daily forklift checks and report defects.
• Ensure loads are properly positioned and secured.
• Follow loading schedules for timely despatch to Service Centres.
• Maintain records for KPIs, quality standards and traceability.
• Process inbound consignments and ensure correct handling of goods and documentation.
• Support management of third-party consignments and network workstreams.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, health and safety across the warehouse and yard.
