Job summary

Moderna is establishing a leading R&D and manufacturing facility at Harwell to support onshore mRNA vaccine production in the UK. Join our Warehouse and Logistics Operations team at Harwell as an individual contributor, ensuring seamless material flow for manufacturing.

This 12-month fixed‑term contract operates on a 2-2-3 schedule with 12‑hour shifts, offering exposure to GMP processes and digital tools, including Generative AI‑enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience in GMP or GDP operations.
• 2+ years of experience in Warehouse Operations.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound deliveries and verify shipments against purchase orders.
• Review delivery documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Upload, maintain and control delivery and inventory records in quality systems (GMP).
• Pick, verify and prepare warehouse materials to meet manufacturing requirements.
• Learn and implement internal procedures for material labeling, handling, storage and movement.
• Support broader logistics activities across the Harwell site.
• Complete required training programs to operate independently.
• Coordinate deliveries to internal customers ensuring on-time fulfilment.
• Execute daily SAP transactions to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Perform daily warehouse cycle counts and reconcile stock.
• Manage segregation and control of expired materials.
• Maintain inventory records within SAP and support best practices.
• Partner with manufacturing to ensure materials are available.
• Contribute as part of a collaborative team focused on excellence.
