Job summary

Moderna Harwell is seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Operator for a 12‑month fixed-term contract at the Harwell site. You will perform SAP inventory management, material receiving, documentation control and cycle counts to support mRNA manufacturing operations.

The role requires full‑time site work, adherence to GMP standards, and collaboration with manufacturing teams to ensure material availability and continuous site operations.

Qualifications

• Educated to a high standard.
• Experience working in GMP or GDP operations.
• Knowledge of Quality Management systems.
• 2+ years of experience in Warehouse Operations.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry, pharmaceutical, or related field.
• Ability to lift and move products as required.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office and relevant operational tools (SAP, Smartsheet, Word, Excel).
• Flexible and collaborative attitude.
• Site-based role; not eligible for remote work.
• Enhanced pre-employment check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound deliveries and verify against purchase orders and paperwork.
• Review delivery documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Upload, maintain and control records in quality systems per GMP.
• Pick and prepare warehouse materials to meet manufacturing needs.
• Learn and apply Moderna procedures for labeling, handling and storage.
• Support logistics activities across the Harwell site.
• Complete departmental training to operate independently.
• Coordinate deliveries to internal customers on time.
• Execute SAP transactions to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and inventory reconciliations.
• Manage segregation of expired materials per procedures.
• Maintain SAP inventory records and best practices.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Contribute to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Explore Generative AI-enabled tools for more efficient workflows.
