Job summary

Moderna is hiring for a hands-on production role at the Harwell site in Oxfordshire, UK. You will operate mRNA vaccine manufacturing equipment in a highly automated, cGMP environment and contribute to delivering safe, effective vaccines.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams to support process improvements, QA, and manufacturing, ensuring compliance and timely batch release. A strong scientific mindset and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
• University degree with specialization in pharmaceutical production technology or equivalent.
• Experience with filtration and chromatography; cold chain management a plus.
• Experience in audit/inspection preparation, understanding Health authority and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to collaborate fluidly with peers, leadership and cross-functional support groups required.
• Excellent written, oral communication, and organizational skills required.
• Attention to detail while executing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment within Moderna's mRNA vaccine production unit in accordance with cGMP, SOPs, documentation, and health and safety regulations.
• Execute production operations safely, consistently, and compliantly to support the manufacture of commercial vaccine batches.
• Follow gowning procedures and maintain housekeeping standards within production areas.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure documentation is completed accurately for timely disposition of batches.
• Participate in incident and deviation investigations, contributing to RCA and CAPA implementations.
