Job summary

De Montfort University seeks a self-motivated pharmaceutical scientist for a research assistant role. You will lead the establishment of our manufacturing facility, quality management system, and related documentation, contributing to regulatory work for our core technology as part of a developing DMU spin out.

You will work with external partners and supervise UG/PG project students while advancing prototyping and manufacturing workflows in a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in pharmaceutical science with industry experience.
• Experience with manufacturing workflows and quality control.
• Strong documentation, records management and project supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead establishment of the manufacturing facility and QA systems.
• Oversee documentation, equipment assessments and regulatory work for core technology.
• Supervise UG/PG project students as part of the team.
