Job summary

Piramal Healthcare UK Limited is seeking a dedicated Cleaner / Porter for a 12-month fixed-term contract to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment within our pharmaceutical facilities.

You will perform GMP cleaning duties across the production areas, restock supplies, assist with porter tasks, and report maintenance issues while following SOPs and health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a cleaning or porter role.
• Understanding of health and safety guidelines relevant to cleaning, portering and manual handling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and high housekeeping standards.
• Effective communication skills.
• Flexible approach to work and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of Good Manufacturing Practice cleaning duties, across the pharmaceutical production area.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are carried out to a high standard, adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor and restock supplies as needed.
• Assist with general porter duties, including moving materials between departments or locations to support the overall manufacturing process.
• Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or equipment malfunctions to the relevant department.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and GMP requirements at all times.
