Job summary

Production Cleaning Operative (GMP Environment) within a pharmaceutical manufacturing site at Swindon. The role requires delivering cleaning services in line with GMP standards, supporting safe and compliant operations.

The successful candidate will follow SOPs, maintain hygiene, use PPE correctly, and work both independently and as part of a team on a 42-hour week with 4 days out of 7. Competitive hourly rate and Sodexo benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in GMP/pharma or regulated environments is desirable.
• Understanding of hygiene standards and safe working practices.
• Ability to follow SOPs, training guidance, and task cards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled cleaning tasks across designated areas.
• Work in accordance with GMP standards and site procedures.
• Follow cleaning methods using SOPs and task cards.
• Ensure correct use of PPE and adherence to COSHH regulations.
• Maintain high hygiene standards across areas.
• Report faults with cleaning equipment or machinery.
• Identify and report building defects or health and safety concerns.
• Complete tasks as per daily schedules and supervisor direction.
• Support continuous improvement by maintaining consistent service standards.
• Collaborate with the wider team to support site operations.
