Job summary

Piramal Healthcare UK Limited is seeking a dedicated Cleaner / Porter for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is crucial in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment within our facilities, supporting the overall operational efficiency of the company.

Responsibilities include GMP cleaning across the production area, restocking supplies, general porter duties, and reporting any maintenance issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a cleaning or porter role, preferably within a GMP or manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of health and safety guidelines relevant to cleaning, portering and manual handling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and reliability.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and high housekeeping standards
• Effective communication skills.
• A flexible approach to work, including willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of Good Manufacturing Practice cleaning duties, across the Pharmaceutical Production area.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are carried out to a high standard, adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor and restock supplies as needed.
• Assist with general porter duties, including moving materials between departments or locations to support the overall manufacturing process.
• Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or equipment malfunctions to the relevant department.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and GMP requirements at all times.
