Job summary

Apleona UK invites an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the on-site FM team at a pharmaceutical client facility in Runcorn. The role covers hard and soft services with a strong health and safety focus and a commitment to regulatory compliance.

You will manage day-to-day operations, coordinate maintenance, and drive service improvements while reporting to the Business Unit Services Director. A proactive leader with an engineering background and budget management skills will excel, delivering

Qualifications

• Experience in Pharmaceutical/regulatory environments is desirable.
• Proven ability to train and develop teams to high standards.
• Excellent knowledge of hard services within FM.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical building services.
• Experience with budget planning and cost control.
• Familiarity with service contracts and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of hard and soft FM services with high service standards.
• Take responsibility for health and safety, budgets and contract performance.
• Build and motivate teams, promoting continuous improvement and succession planning.
• Manage subcontractors and partners, ensuring value and compliance.
• Foster strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Identify efficiency improvements to support business objectives.
• Provide regular performance reporting and lead projects as required.
