Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim in Winnersh, UK, offers a 12-month paid Commercial Quality Internship starting September 2027. Based at head office, you will work a minimum of two days a week from the office and gain practical experience in quality systems, compliance and data analysis.

You'll collaborate across Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Customer Service, Medical and Commercial teams, build dashboards in Excel and Power BI, support audits, CAPAs, training records, and participate in quality

Qualifications

• Must be currently studying for a university degree in pharmaceutical/ life sciences or related subject and completing a placement year.
• Minimum of three A levels at ABB, with at least one in Mathematics or a science subject.
• Right to work in the UK for the full duration of the internship.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and willingness to learn new systems and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions and records.
• Review and track complaints, deviations and CAPAs.
• Prepare quality reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI and quality systems.
• Support audits, self-inspections and compliance monitoring activities.
• Maintain training records and monitor completion of required training.
• Support supplier and third-party quality activities.
• Support product launches, lifecycle changes, ongoing supply and batch release activities.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Customer Service and Commercial teams.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
