Job summary

GlobalData UK Ltd is seeking a Solution Specialist for AI & Data Services (Pharma) to lead commercial and technical evolution of Direct Data Solutions. You will run discovery, scope major deals, and build working demonstrations using APIs, MCP, Snowflake and CRM.

Qualifications

Must have sold information as the product and be able to discuss coverage, sourcing and methodology.
Understand pharma workflows: competitive intelligence, clinical operations, medical affairs or commercial analytics.
Background in pre-sales, solutions engineering or technical consulting with client relationships.
Ability to build a working demonstration with engineering and AI support.
Able to scope a demonstration and say, I don't know, then find out.
Commercially minded and able to translate technical solutions into client value.
Comfortable moving between data engineering conversations and boardroom discussions.
Curious, self-directed and willing to learn the domain.

Responsibilities

Act as the technical lead in client meetings, running discovery and translating what you hear into a concrete solution across APIs, MCP, Snowflake and CRM delivery.
Lead MCP pilots through to production, producing the integration guidance and solution documentation clients need.
Answer the hard questions about data coverage, provenance and refresh frequency.
Work with Research & Analytics and Product to ensure pharma datasets are structured and usable via APIs, MCP and Snowflake.
Feed client insights back into data roadmap and product strategy.
Understand how AI agents consume data and identify improvement areas.
Shape AI-focused commercial offerings, pricing approaches and proposals with the sales team.
Represent GlobalData with clients, partners and at industry events.
Create reusable assets — demo patterns, MCP configurations and documentation.
