Job summary

Johnson Matthey Plc in Milton, UK is seeking a PGM Coordinator to support our manufacturing operations. You will follow ISO TS procedures, prepare PGM control reports and ensure a reliable PGM supply to production lines.

Key tasks include proper handling and accounting of Precious Metals, producing mass balance analyses, booking waste and refinery shipments, and supporting audits with the aim of zero customer complaints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economy, Natural Science or Mathematics.
• Advanced level of English (written and verbal).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to details and ability to communicate with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Follow ISO TS procedures and prepare PGM control reports.
• Handle PGM inbound, storage, and provide high-quality supply to production lines.
• Assist in accounting of Precious Metals; perform mass balances variances and stock checks.
• Book PGM waste, prepare refinery shipments, and manage refinery returns; support improvements and data provision.
• Support audits; aim for zero customer complaints and safe working practices.

Job description

At Johnson Matthey, your work will matter!

As a PGM Coordinator, you will help drive our goals by:

• Follows every new Customer's requirement, aligned with ISO TS procedures system
• Prepares PGM control reports
• Completes PGM inbound process, storage, and provides high-quality PGM supply service to production lines
• Follow proper handling and accounting of Precious Metals throughout the site. Collect and analyze related data and summarized as mass balances variances, stock take variances, refining variances. Approve mass balance and refinery variances withing limit.
• Booking PGM waste. Preparing refinery shipments. Booking refinery returns, conducts investigation if is required and submits for approval. Work with other departments to reduce PGM refining volumes and associated costs through provision of data to drive improvement efforts. Act to achieve PGM Waste target % (generation and inventory on stock).
• Pass all customer and internal audits with good scores, without nonconformity. Achieve zero customer complaints.
• Support each collaboration request within the site by sharing data and best practices.
• Always do the job in a safe manner and under NO circumstances compromise safety to do things quicker or with short cuts! Ensure Safe working environment and point out unsafe behavior or equipment

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree - Faculty of Economy, Natural Science or Mathematics
• Advance level of communication in English and Macedonian (written and verbal)
• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
• Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point)
• Strong attention to details
• Experienced at communicating to all levels and types of stakeholders.
• Flexibility under conditions of change essential.
