Job summary

Sheffield Forgemasters Engineering Ltd is seeking a PFMEA Engineer to join the Recapitalisation Team on a 3-year fixed-term contract at our Sheffield site. You will develop and maintain PFMEAs, drive continuous improvement, and support non-conformance investigations while ensuring lessons learned are applied to new processes.

You will collaborate with machinists, OEMs, tooling suppliers, inspectors, and quality engineers to sustain operational excellence and ensure documentation accuracy in

Qualifications

• Strong PFMEA knowledge and experience.
• Experience supporting Continuous Improvement projects.
• Ability to carry out corrective action investigations and produce clear reports.
• Experience creating weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PFMEAs for components across multiple areas.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance quality and process efficiency.
• Support non-conformance investigations and capture lessons learned.
• Review and update SPI and WOP documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with machinists, OEMs, tooling suppliers, inspectors, and quality engineers.
• Participate in quality meetings and problem-solving clinics.
