Job summary

Tetra Tech's Bedford laboratory is seeking a dedicated LC–MS/MS PFAS Analyst to advance environmental analysis. This permanent, full‑time role supports routine compliance testing and large‑scale monitoring campaigns across water, utilities, agrochemicals and defence.

You will operate LC–MS/MS systems (single and triple quadrupole), perform PFAS sample preparation (LLE, SPE, QuEChERS) and data processing, interpret QC data, and deliver client‑facing reports.

Qualifications

• BSc 2:1 in Chemistry or related subject.
• Experience in an accredited environmental analytical laboratory.
• Experience with Agilent ChemStation or MassHunter; PFAS analysis.

Responsibilities

• Operate LC–MS/MS systems for PFAS analysis from sample extraction to data reporting.
• Ensure data quality, QC review and client-facing deliverables.
• Support method development, troubleshooting and throughput improvements.
• Collaborate with extraction teams and project staff to meet deadlines.
