Job summary

No prior laboratory experience required; you will develop analytical expertise through an Extraction Development scheme, with regular performance reviews and salary progression.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English grade 5 or higher.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform extractions and sample preparation to established quality procedures.
• Support calibration and instrument checks; maintain bench equipment and consumables.
• Apply QC/QA procedures and comply with UKAS-style accreditation requirements.
• Prioritise workflows, meet turnaround targets and adapt to project needs.
• Communicate findings clearly in written reports and collaborate with the team.
