Job summary

Waters Corporation seeks a Senior Scientist to join the Food & Environmental and Materials (FEMS) program team in the UK. You will contribute to PFAS analytical strategy, design and execute high-quality experiments, and support the development of robust PFAS workflows.

You will collaborate across functions to ensure customer use cases are reflected in outputs, author scientific content, and present findings at conferences and technical forums. Travel is <10% and Waters offers flexible working and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in a scientific discipline.
• Experience developing contaminant analytical methods using sample preparation, chromatography and mass spectrometry for FEMS applications, PFAS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contributes as a technical expert on PFAS projects, meeting milestones.
• Designs, executes, interprets and summarizes FEMS experiments with quality data.
• Provides scientific input to cross-functional teams to reflect customer use cases.
• Authors scientific content such as application notes, workflows and presentations.
• Participates in conferences, webinars and forums with content development.
