Job summary

Squire's Garden Centres in Greater London is seeking a friendly customer assistant to support shoppers on weekends. You will greet customers, offer assistance, and help maintain an inviting store environment.

Responsibilities include handling queries, guiding purchases, and keeping merchandising and housekeeping standards up to the mark. A basic knowledge of fish or animals is preferred.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide professional support to our customers.

Working closely with the Garden Centre Manager to help the business to succeed.

Rota: Alternate weekends Saturday 09:00 - 18:00 and Sunday 09:00 - 17:00

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone by:
• Ensuring all customers are greeted and offered assistance
• Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently
• Identifying customer needs through interaction, and taking appropriate action
• Excellent standards of merchandising and housekeeping are established and maintained in accordance with company guidelines
• Must have some fish or animal knowledge
