Job description

As an InHealth PET-CT Radiographer/Technologist, you will undertake PET-CT imaging procedures efficiently and effectively for both the public and private sectors, adhering to best practices in radiographic techniques. You will maintain a high level of professionalism and technical standards, complying with relevant codes of practice.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for someone who has:

  1. Knowledge of the requirements of a Radiographer/Technologist in patient care, visitor and carer interactions, and teamwork.
  2. Safety awareness skills in imaging equipment operation.
  3. An appreciation of patient care and confidentiality.
  4. Understanding of the Data Protection Act, Caldicott Principles, and GDPR.
  5. Completed infection control, manual handling, patient transfer, health and safety, and basic life support training.
  6. Computer literacy with accurate data entry and attention to detail.
  7. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  8. Interest in training and developing PET-CT skills.
  9. Willingness to participate in performance appraisals.
  10. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening).
  11. Flexibility to work required shifts and willingness to travel nationally for training.
  12. Eligibility to drive in the UK.

  2. Previous experience in PET-CT or Nuclear Medicine.

What We’re Looking For:

  • BSc in Radiography or Nuclear Medicine (or equivalent)

  • Strong understanding of patient care, safety protocols, and infection control
  • Excellent technical and IT skills, with great attention to detail
  • A passion for continuous learning and professional development
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
