Job description

As an InHealth PET-CT Radiographer/Technologist, you will be undertaking PET-CT imaging procedures efficiently and effectively for both the public and private sectors, adhering to best practices in radiographic technique. Maintaining a high level of professionalism and technical standards, you will comply with relevant codes of practice.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for someone who has:

  1. Knowledge of the requirements of a Radiographer/Technologist in caring for patients, visitors, carers, and colleagues.
  2. Safety awareness skills in utilising imaging equipment.
  3. An appreciation of patient care and confidentiality.
  4. Understanding of the Data Protection Act, Caldicott Principles, and GDPR.
  5. Completed infection control, manual handling, patient transfer, health and safety, and basic life support training.
  6. Computer literacy with accurate data entry skills and attention to detail.
  7. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  8. Interest in training and developing PET-CT skills.
  9. Willingness to participate in performance appraisals.
  10. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening).
  11. Flexibility to work required shifts.
  12. Willingness to undertake national travel for training.
  13. Eligibility to drive in the UK.
