Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Pest Control Technician to cover Bedford and surrounding towns. No prior experience required as full training is provided, and you will manage your own schedule while solving customer pest issues in person.

The role offers a competitive salary (£27,669 per year) with potential on-target earnings of £32,566, a company vehicle and fuel card, and a comprehensive benefits package. Full-time, Monday to Friday with opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years
• GCSE Maths and English at level C (Grade 4) or above is advantageous
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs
• You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role

Responsibilities

• Inspecting customer premises for signs of pests and identifying potential risks
• Swiftly tackling pest problems by cleaning and removing evidence of pest behaviour
• Offering valuable advice to customers on maintenance and hygiene of their premises
• Completing accurate reports after every visit
• Providing exceptional customer service and upholding a professional image at all times
