Rentokil Initial is seeking a Pest Control Technician to cover Southampton. No prior experience required as we provide comprehensive, industry-leading training.

You will manage your own schedule and solve customer problems in person, contributing to a growing, nationally recognised team. The role offers a competitive salary (£27,669 base with OTE £32,447), a company vehicle, fuel card, pension and private healthcare options.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or aptitude is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible approach to working patterns to support business needs.
• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years with up to six penalty points.
• DBS check may be required depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Inspect customer premises for signs of pests and assess risks.
• Tackle pest problems and remove evidence of pest activity.
• Provide expert advice on maintenance and hygiene to customers.
• Complete accurate reports after each visit.
• Maintain a professional image and deliver outstanding customer service.
