Job summary

Vergo Pest Management Ltd is seeking a customer facing Pest Control Technician to join our team, covering Hereford, Brecon and surrounding areas. You will inspect sites, perform treatments and promote additional services while delivering excellent customer care.

We offer a salary package up to £29,500 base, with opportunities to increase take-home pay by up to £6,000 through leads, commissions, bonuses and incentives, plus a comprehensive training programme for newcomers.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to live within a 40 mile radius of Hereford area
• Ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision
• Methodical and systematic in approach to work
• Comfortable using mobile phone apps for job tasks
• Excellent attention to detail in pest management tasks

Responsibilities

• Visit commercial, residential, and government properties across the Hereford area to inspect sites and carry out pest treatments.
• Promote additional work and services where appropriate to meet customer needs and company targets.
• Provide high-quality customer service and professional pest control solutions on site.

Vergo Pest Management Ltd is the largest independent national pest service provider in the UK today. We have a fantastic opportunity for a customer facing Pest Control Technician to join our team, working in Hereford, Brecon and surrounding areas. Whether you are experienced in the industry, looking for a change or to start your career, we want to hear from you.

Our comprehensive range of pest management services includes rodent control, bird management, insect control and wildlife management.

You’ll be at the sharp end of our service for commercial, residential and government properties where you'll be visiting our customers across your area to make inspections and carry out treatments, as well as promoting additional work if the opportunity arises.

Our salary package is up to £29,500.00 based on qualifications and experience, in addition all of our technicians have the opportunity to increase their take home pay by up to 6K through leads, commission, bonus schemes and incentives.

Experience within this field would be preferred however we provide an excellent training programme for inexperienced candidates and are always looking to bring on individuals who show initiative and have the right attitude and work ethic.

Minimum criteria
