Job summary

Virgin Active in London is seeking a Personal Training Manager to join our Product Team on a 20-hour per week schedule. You will oversee the PT plan, drive sessions, trials and conversions, and ensure a seamless path from initial sign-up to long‑term member engagement.

You will recruit, onboard and mentor trainers, coach as part of a high‑performance team, and use data dashboards to guide weekly actions on penetration, productivity and retention while maintaining safety and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Own the PT weekly plan with actions, targets and reviews; drive penetration and revenue through new client acquisition and retention.
• Deliver exceptional member journeys, elevate session quality and ensure a seamless path from first purchase to long-term engagement.
• Recruit, develop and retain top PT talent; deliver onboarding, mentorship and coaching programs.
• Use data and dashboards to drive actions across penetration, productivity, conversion, bookings and churn; keep PT profiles up to date.
• Collaborate with GM, Product, Membership and Group Exercise to align targets and SOPs.

Education

Personal Trainer Level 3/4 or CIMSPA equivalent qualification
