Bexhill College is seeking a Personal Progress Tutor who will support students to achieve qualifications and provide guidance for UCAS and future pathways.
The role is 33 hours per week, term-time, with DBS clearance required and training provided to enable effective mentoring of young people. Pro rata salary depends on skills and experience, with an emphasis on safeguarding and student welfare.

Bexhill College is looking for enthusiastic and well-qualified graduates to act as a Personal Progress Tutors, supporting our students to achieve their qualifications. Personal Progress Tutors have a key role in tutorial delivery as well as supporting students with UCAS and their next steps. We are committed to providing a supportive and enriching educational environment for our students. We believe that providing an outstanding curriculum and excellent support is key to student success, and our personal tutors play a crucial role in achieving this.
This role is 33 hours a week over 5 days - term time including enrolment and therefore candidates need to be available from GCSE reuslts day each year in August to be part of the reinterview process. This year this is from Monday 24 August.
The successful candidate needs to be confident in working with young people. The successful candidate could hold a degree in any area as full training is given.
The College would support candidates to undertake a Certificate in Education should the successful candidate wish to do so.
This is a five day a week role, 33 hours per week, term time only role.
The College reserves the right to interview and appoint early if a suitable candidate applies.
Successful candidates will be required to possess an enhanced DBS certificate to be employed at the College. If you do not hold one, this will be applied for after interview if successful.
