Job summary

Bexhill College is seeking a Personal Progress Tutor who will support students to achieve qualifications and provide guidance for UCAS and future pathways.

The role is 33 hours per week, term-time, with DBS clearance required and training provided to enable effective mentoring of young people. Pro rata salary depends on skills and experience, with an emphasis on safeguarding and student welfare.

Qualifications

• Needs to be able to work with young people and support learners.
• Full training will be provided; degree in any area acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tutorials and support students to achieve qualifications.
• Assist students with UCAS applications and next steps.
• Provide safeguarding and DBS compliance as required.
• Be available during term time, including enrolment and re-interview periods.
