Job summary

Clear IT Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a leading Liverpool law firm for a Trainee Solicitor in the Personal Injury Department. The role offers exposure to a broad range of matters with a clear pathway for professional development and qualification.

You will support fee-earning work, manage and progress cases, attend client meetings, draft documents, conduct legal research, and attend court hearings as required. A structured training plan and supportive environment are provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the management of a mixed caseload including RTA, EL, PL, Clinical Negligence, Housing Disrepair, CICA and Civil Litigation matters
• Attend client meetings and provide a professional and client-focused service
• Draft legal documents, correspondence, court applications and other legal documentation
• Assist with negotiations involving clients, insurers and other third parties
• Undertake legal research and analyse case law to support ongoing matters
• Attend court hearings and other off-site appointments as required
• Monitor and update matters on case management systems and online portals
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues and external contacts
• Assist with business development and networking activities
• Ensure compliance with SRA regulations, GDPR requirements and internal procedures
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities
