Job summary

Carpenters Group is seeking a Solicitor or CILEx Lawyer to manage a mixed caseload of personal injury claims up to £100,000, guiding matters from instruction to resolution. You will gather evidence, assess liability and costs, and progress cases through court or settlement while maintaining excellent client communication.

You will work with Defendant solicitors, insurers and medical experts, ensuring timely updates and compliant handling under CPR and policy guidelines.

Qualifications

• A Solicitor or CILEx Lawyer with litigation rights or working toward obtaining.
• Experience running claimant caseloads for litigated and non-litigated PI claims within RTA portals and Multi/Intermediate Track.
• Familiarity with CPR and relevant case law; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseloads of PI claims up to £100,000, covering litigated and non-litigated matters.
• Provide clear advice on litigation risks and costs; obtain necessary evidence.
• Progress claims efficiently through proceedings and settlements; liaise with counsel and insurers.
• Maintain client updates and deliver gold-standard customer care.
