Job summary

Executive Network Legal Limited in Birmingham is seeking a newly qualified Personal Injury Solicitor to join our defendant insurance team. You will handle EL/PL claims under supervision and gain high-quality experience across a varied caseload.

You should be technically strong, commercially minded and able to manage competing deadlines while developing client relationships with insurers and corporate clients.

Qualifications

• Recently qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales, or due to qualify soon.
• Experience in EL/PL or defendant insurance is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commercial and client-focused approach.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Genuine interest in developing a long-term career within defendant insurance litigation.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of EL and PL defendant claims.

• Reviewing evidence and assessing prospects of success.

Are you a newly qualified Solicitor looking to build your career within a leading defendant insurance team?

We are working with a highly regarded national law firm that is looking to appoint an NQ EL/PL Solicitor to join its established team in Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious newly qualified lawyer to gain high-quality experience working on a varied caseload of Employers' Liability and Public Liability claims, alongside experienced and supportive practitioners.

The Role

You will work as part of a specialist defendant insurance team, acting for a range of insurers, corporate clients and other major organisations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of EL and PL defendant claims.
