Intact Insurance Ireland DAC in Belfast offers a hybrid Personal Injury Claims Handler role. You will develop specialist expertise in personal injury claims, liability assessment, negotiation and settlement, with structured training and ongoing coaching.

You will interact with customers, solicitors and professionals, applying case management and analytical skills to support informed decisions and positive outcomes. This is a pathway to a professional claims career.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience managing claims from intimation to settlement.
• Experience in liability, regulatory environments, or related areas.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in regulated, professional or customer-focused environments.
• Progress towards relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CII, Law Degree).

Responsibilities

• Develop specialist expertise in personal injury claims, liability assessment, negotiation and settlement.
• Work as part of an experienced team with training and coaching.
• Listen to customers, understand complex situations, and help move forward after an accident.
• Engage with customers, solicitors and other professionals to influence outcomes.
• Manage claims from intimation to settlement.
