Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd., on behalf of New College Durham, invites applications for a Personal Development Coach to support FE students with personalised development sessions and employability skills.

You will assist learners with goal setting, action planning, progress reviews, and career planning while monitoring progress and maintaining records. DBS checks and safeguarding are integral to the role, with opportunities to mentor and support wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in an educational setting.
• Strong communication, coaching and mentoring skills.
• Ability to motivate and support learners to achieve their goals.
• Experience managing student caseloads or providing pastoral support (desirable).
• Knowledge of employability, careers education, or personal development programmes (desirable).
• Confidence using ICT systems and maintaining learner records.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
