Job summary

AA Euro Healthcare is seeking agency relief Support Workers for our established clients based in Amersham. You will provide personalised support with personal care and daily living in line with care plans to optimise wellbeing and independence.

Role involves assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming and medication administration, with emphasis on preserving dignity, respect and social engagement. Teamwork and the ability to work independently are required in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care certificate is required.
• One year’s experience of working with adults with physical & intellectual disability.
• Up to date Medicines Administration training.
• Up to date Safety Intervention training.
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medication according to prescribed schedules.
• Residents receive care tailored to their individual needs, maintaining dignity and independence.
• Encourage residents to interact socially and participate in events and activities.
• Monitor health and wellbeing to ensure care plans remain relevant.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support and assist the care team.
