Job summary

AA Euro Healthcare is seeking experienced agency relief Support Workers to serve clients in Amersham. You will provide personalised care and assist with daily living activities to optimise wellbeing, helping residents lead fulfilling lives.

The role includes administering medications as scheduled, following care plans, and ensuring residents feel respected, with dignity and independence maintained. You will be encouraged to engage residents in social activities and collaborate with teammates.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care Certificate required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with adults with physical and intellectual disabilities.
• Medicines administration training up to date.
• Safety intervention training up to date.
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medication according to prescribed schedules.
• Care tailored to individual needs, maintaining dignity and independence.
• Encourage social interaction and participation in events and activities.
• Involve residents in shaping social activities and participation levels.
• Monitor health and wellbeing to ensure care plans remain relevant.
• Support colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team.
