Job summary

AA Euro Healthcare seeks experienced healthcare professionals for agency relief Support Worker roles in Dorset. You will provide personal care and support with daily living, following care plans to promote wellbeing and fulfill residents’ needs in a respectful, dignified manner.

Responsibilities include medication administration, assisting with bathing, dressing and grooming, and supporting residents to engage in social activities while monitoring health indicators and adjusting care as required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care certificate is required.
• One year experience of working with adults with physical and intellectual disability.
• Up to date Medicines Administration training.
• Up to date Safety Intervention training.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Administer medication according to prescribed schedules.
• Care is tailored to individual needs and aligned with care plans to optimise wellbeing.
• Residents maintain dignity and independence and are respected as people.
• Encourage social interaction and participation in activities and events.
• Residents are involved in shaping social activities and participation levels.
• Health and wellbeing are regularly monitored to ensure care plans stay relevant.
