Casual Personal Care Assistant - £14.50/hr in Liverpool

We are seeking an experienced Care / Support worker to join our team of Personal Assistants supporting a client in the Anfield area of Liverpool on a casual basis. The role involves supporting a client who is quadriplegic following an acquired brain injury, enabling them to lead an independent lifestyle within their own home.

You will work as part of a small team in the client's family home. This casual position involves two flexible days, potentially up to 21 hours per week. Please note that shadowing and training will be during office hours (9am to 5pm).

Shift Patterns are:

• 08:30 am to 7:00 pm
• 7:00 pm to 8:30 am

Who we are looking for:

• Self-motivated, well-organized, reliable, and a team player with a good sense of humor
• Compassionate, confident, and naturally caring
• Experience in personal care, incontinence management, skin care, catheter care, moving and handling (including hoisting), domestic duties (laundry, cleaning, cooking), gastrostomy care, administration of medication, health monitoring, and supporting non-verbal communication
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility to cover leave and sickness

Due to the nature of the role, candidates may need to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally. The role requires an enhanced DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available.
